September 17-18 Card Sketch Challenge Blog Hop, Day One

Hi! Welcome to the Sketch blog hop! The purpose of this hop is to show how all of these talented bloggers can take the same sketch and come up with totally different cards. If you've never used a card sketch before, give it a try! Be sure to check back on Sunday, as there will be some bloggers posting cards on day 2. So sit back & be inspired!
Here is the lineup just in case you get lost along the way:

I am so fortunate to be in this hop with the most amazing women. Some I have worked with before and others I am with for the first time. Nonetheless, you are going to find some spectacular cards here. Jenn's sketch was so much fun to work with. Here is a copy of Jenn's sketch:

Here is what I decided to make...

I wanted to make a shaker card because I had these jewel flowers and though they went well with the flower on the cupcake. The stamp is is from Jen's Digi Stamps; cupcake with flower. I took out my glycerin pens from Stampin' Up, some stamping up inks and went to town coloring. I have to admit that I need to ask Santa for a laserjet printer. (Do you think a printer company might want to sponsor me to endorse their product?). I actually cut the square of the card on the Gypsy because I can NEVER line those puppies up. Stampin' Up has these window sheets that I had ordered awhile back. I used large dimensional adhesive squares to make a frame over the plastic window sheet, added the jewel flowers and put the colored stamp on top to seal it. I then added a square piece of paper (same as the front) to cover the adhesive completely. I decided to add the bling to it as we know I love bling

I am so glad that you stopped by and hope to see you again tomorrow. For now, please hop on over to Linda's blog. Until next time....
