Welcome to the Which Disney Princess Am I Blog Hop -

Every girl both old and young alike love to be a "Princess" and we really aren't old to believe we are a princess. Today's hop is going to include our favorite Princess with clues and then the final reveal with our project displaying which Princess we are --- NOW, the question is, how well do you know your Disney Princess.

There will be blog candy of course --- your very own Princess Crown and a Piecing Project of your favorite Princess by remarking on each stop on the royal kingdoms along the way!!!

Some day my Prince will come but, I will always have my crown as these princesses have for you along the way:

Well, for my clues to the identity of my favorite princess are:

1. She lost her voice
2. She longed to be part of His world
3. She always had something fishy going on

Who am I?

Well if you guessed Ariel AKA the Little Mermaid. You are right!!! Here she is:

Last year I had a Princess hop for my birthday and this year I want an Ariel birthday. I am a kid at heart after all :) I found this cake that just looks delish:
And what is a birthday party without goodie bags. So I decided to make two different kinds to choose from. One is your standard goodie bag with some sea treasures (AKA gummies):
And the other is a Cubeet Ariel. The treats go inside of the boxes:
I have to say that I am leaning towards the traditional as the cubeet is a bit of a pain to put together. I hope you enjoyed your stop here and now swim on over to the amazing Colleen :) Until next time.....

Love to Create Design Team Project: Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps

Greetings and Happy Monday All :)

I am here bringing you my design team post for the Love to Create Challenge Blog. The sponsor today is Robyn's Fetish. If you are not familiar with this line of digital stamps, then hop on over to Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps And More. Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps And More, a division of I Did It Creations, was created and is owned by Robyn Weinrib. Robyn offers a wonderful variety of digital stamps and digital papers, designed to meet the needs of all digital paper crafting addicts for every occasion. Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps And More is happy to award the winner her choice of 5 digital stamps.

I was blessed to attend a day crop in Warminster, PA that was hosted by my dear friend Ellen AKA Cardmonkey. I made some new scrappy friends and worked on the pieces of my card. I finished it up on Sunday and got to use my dollar store bow maker:

I have discovered that I am a dyslexic bow maker as I tie them backwards. Same result just backwards. Here is the finished result:

Do you recognize my FAVORITE Creative Memories tool? Yup, it is the Border Maker System!! I demonstrated it yesterday and it was a big hit. Want to see it in action? You can watch the video HERE

Well, all. It is off to work I go but hope to bring you a great video on May 5th for National Scrapbooking Day weekend. Wishing you all a scrappingly good day. Until next time....

Crafty Card Gallery's April Sketch Blog Hop

Welcome to the April Sketch Blog Hop. Everyone has had so much fun doing these it's turned into a regular event! The purpose of this hop is to show how all of these talented bloggers can take the same sketch and come up with totally different cards. If you've never used a card sketch before, give it a try! You should have arrived from Jearise's Blog. If not, be sure to go back to the start at www.craftycardgallery.blogspot.com. Grab your favorite beverage and sit back and hop along with us!

Here's the sketch we were provided:

And here is my interpretation:

I made my circle as an easel card and used a Stampin' Up set that I received from a friend. I stamped the two colors at the same time by using my Stampin' Up markers to color the stamp first. Of course I had to add some bling. Normally, I have the easel stand a bit lower but wanted to showcase this beautiful paper from my scrap pile.

Here's the lineup:

Jennifer http://craftycardgallery.blogspot.com/
Regina http://cardsbyregina.blogspot.com/
Jearise http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com/
Susan http://susanascorner.blogspot.com/ <-- YOU ARE HERE
Kristy http://scraptasticalkreations.blogspot.com/ <-- NEXT STOP
Zenita http://scrappinwithz.blogspot.com/

I hope that you enjoy this hop as we all put a lot of heart into this. Happy hopping along to Jearise's Blog .

Where are all my digital scrapbooking fans?

Good evening all :)

I delved into the world of digital scrapbooking and I love it as much as traditional scrapbooking. It is the perfect solution for those who lead busy lives but still want to preserve the memories they are making. I know I am preaching to the choir for some and want to share this with others. So, Creative Memories is running a special sale this weekend.  It is for digital packages that are family related and you can view what is on sale by clicking the link HERE

If you are new to digital scrapbooking or want to learn, our Storybook and Memory manager are on sale till the end of the month at 35% off. You can see the software downloads HERE. I promise you that it is so easy to use and you will have beautiful layouts in the blink of an eye.

Are you not sure you want to digital scrapbook but need a way to catalog all those digital photos? Well, I have a solution for you at 35% off as well. With Memory Manager 3.0 you can easily organize, cross-reference and fine-tune your digital photos so they’re ready for your next project when you are. It is available in English only, PC compatible.

Let me help you preserve those memories so that you can share them with your friends and family. Also, stay tuned for some special events I have planned for National Scrapbooking Day weekend (May 5th-6th). Please contact me HERE with any questions you may have. Until next time....

JME Creations: Spring is in the air

Greetings and salutations my friends!

Today is my last project for the JME Creations' Design Team for now. The group is taking a little hiatus. April showers bring May flowers and I decided to make a "Get Well" card. Here it is:
I used my Creative Memories Cheerful Designer Print Paper. You get 16 pieces of high quality double sided paper. It is perfect for cardmaking or scrapbooking. I punched a tag and used self-adhesive rhinestones to outline. I decided to doodle on the edges as well. The umbrella came from the Cricut Create a Critter cartridge. I believe the card base is from the Don Juan cartridge. I look forward to this team starting back up in several months. Until next time....

Love to Create Design Team Post: Stamp Fairy

Boy oh boy, have I been in a beary happy mood lately. Spring is here and it feels like summer some days. Can you believe we are more than halfway through April? Well, today's sponsor is
I had so much fun making this card. I used the easel card tutorial from Splitcoast stampers. The bears just looked super sweet. I have a bestie and we are going to our 25th high school reunion in July. I am blessed to have her in my life. So here is a card I made in honor of our friendship:
I used Stampin' Up's In Color Designer paper (6 x6) and self adhesive rhinestones. The stamp was a $1 stamp from Michael's. I colored the image with colored pencils. I just love it. I hope that you will hop over to the Love to Create Challenge Blog and join the fun.

I am guest designer today for Susan. Thanks Susan!!!! I made this layout but didn't get the picture I wanted from Easter to put on it... Kinda bummed as I really could see the pics I wanted on here but they just didn't happen on Easter.
The papers are all from my stash. I made the heart from with my cricut and Elegant Edges.. the leaves are from Tara's new spellbinders rolled flowers die and the flowers and the wooden rabbits are from the dollar store...

I think I want to add a couple of scalloped circles also but wanted the pics first...the good thing is the unfinished  version shows off the pretty pink paper...its sooo shiny....
thanks for looking...
*********************************************************
Thanks Laura for this adorable layout!!! I never thought to use Elegant Edges to make photo mats. Please hop over to Laura's blog and see the amazing things she has created. Until next time....

Across the Rainbow Bridge...

Good evening all!

I was spending a wonderful day with the family today and wanted to share a card I made at the request of a dear friend. She has a co-worker that recently lost her 2 furbabies right after another. So I made a Rainbow Bridge card for her. Here is the outside:
Her furbabies were white and grey so I made the kitties these colors. The bridge was cut from the Pagoda Cricut cartridge and the rainbow with the cloud from the Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut cartridge. The sun is from the Don Juan Cricut cartridge. The cats were digital images. I sponged the sun and the bridge and then used my brown marker to give the wood texture. I used my Marvy Liquid Applique to give the cloud dimension. Here is the inside:
I really hope that she likes it. I plan on offering this card on Etsy as well. Our pets are part of our families and the loss is real. I pray that it brings comfort. Well, off for more family time. Until next time......

Guest Designer Day: Kari of Purplefuntastick Creations

Good morning to my wonderful cyberspace friends. Today I have a dear friend as my guest designer; Kari. We are kindred spirits as we both love purple and butterflies. So without any delay, heeeerrrreeee'ssssss Kari :)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~*~*

Today I am a guest designer for my wonderful friend Susan at Susana's Corner! Today I did an Easter card in celebration of my Risen Lord!! :) I hope you enjoy it...recipe down below.

Here is my card...

I used a light purple cardstock...used my Inkadinkado stamp for the Sentiment and the cross which I colored with my water color pencils and used pop up dots on the back of it to stand it out a bit on the beautiful lace ribbon I got from Oooh La La Vintage (which is on my sidebar you can go to visit and their shop! ) as well as the beautiful flower with lace doily and purple leaf that has a vintage take on it...then I used two butterflies that were given to me from someone from a hop and I can't remember who...grrr But the person was so sweet!! :)  and it is with two diff shades of purple...so pretty I wish you could see them in person it is just beautiful and how neat they were made.  Voila! pretty simple...I had to re-do it several times for it wasn't what my vision was but I still like how it turned out...Happy Easter to all of you and I pray that you know the Lord Jesus in your life.

Thanks Susan for having me as your guest designer today and it was wonderful to be back again! :)
Have a blessed day friends and don't forget the love! :)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~*~*
Thank to Kari for being my guest designer and please hop over to her blog to show her some love.
I pray that everyone has a good weekend. Until next time....

JME Creations: Easter in every way

Happy Day to you all. Spring has definitely sprung and I can tell by my allergies. I was so excited about my project today. I have always wanted to make a pillow box to hold treats or gift cards with my Cricut but had no cartridges to do it. I found this wonderful sight that offered the cut file. I got it on my Gypsy and cut away. I love that it has the score lines already and I can size it however I like. I used some paper from the Creative Memories Glory of Easter Additions pack that comes with the bunny stickers and some phrases as well. I borrower a Stampin' Up punch from my dear friend Julie and some Creative Memories paper to make the band around the box. I did use double sided sticky tape to close one end of the box to make it sturdy. Here is the finished result:
I hope that you hop by the JME Creations blog to see what the other gals have made. Until next time....
