Jen's Digi Stamps New Release Monday

JME Creations Halloween Design Team Project

Happy Halloween. Until next time....

Jen's Digi Stamps New Release Monday: Cotton n Candy

Welcome to New Release Monday at Jen's Digi Stamps. Jen created Cotton n Candy to represent animal rights and ribbon is to support animal rights/rescue. We rescued our Mini Pin Tina and our lives are forever changed. I had a wonderful time making this shaker card. I will be sending this card to a special friend.

I love these purple beads!! I usually don't like to hand write my sentiments but I used a Disney font.  For those with 4 legged family members remember to hug your dog or cat (or ferret) today. And remember, there are TONS of animals waiting in shelters that need your help and love. I would love another friend for Tina but have to wait for a better time. I hop that you will hop on over to Jen's blog to see what my fellow design team members made as well :) Until next time....

JME Creations Halloween Design Team

Morning to all you wonderful peoples :) Today is our Halloween celebration over at JME Creations. The card I am showing today is part of a 3 part set that I made this month. Earlier this month I participated in a two day Tim Burton blog hop. My favorite Tim Burton movie is "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and this Birthday card features a Jack Skellington head I cut with my Pazzles. I used some Recollections bling to spruce this up and the paper behind Jack's head was cut with Provocraft's Elegant Edges cartridge. The reason Jack's head glistens is because he has Martha Stewart's Glow in the Dark glitter. I was so excited that he glows in the dark :D
I actually made this card with these other projects at the same time
How cool is all these! I certainly hope that you will stop by JME Creations blog to see what my other creative team members made. Until next time....

Making Memories Suite Speed Scrap and goodie bags....

Evening all!

I participated in my first speed on Facebook with My Memories. I just could not resist doing a page using pics of my little cousin Quinn. There were approximately 7 steps and they are given one at a time. Here is the page that resulted:
I also made two trick or treat bags for the little ones I sit for. I am not happy with the embossing powder on this paper but it works. Hope they like it:
Please excuse the photo. I used my webcam because I was too lazy to get the camera . Well, time to go off to lala land. Thanks for stopping by and come back tomorrow for a double helping of inspiration. Until tomorrow....

Oh Mr Mailman.....

he paid me a visit and I received the most wonderful present from Heather of Blessed 2 Cre8. I was blessed to have her as part of my birthday blog hop and just love what she sent; a tri-fold shutter card and an altered journal. I definitely need to start journaling again and this came at the perfect time. Here is what she sent:

Aren't they beautiful?? Please stop by her website to see her other wonderful creations. Thank you Heather for brightening my day :) Be blessed. Until next time....

Scrappy Jak Monthly Challenge

Jen's Digi Stamps Freebie Friday

Thanks for stopping by and sitting a spell :) Until next time....

Scrappy Jak Project of the Month

Ok, since I participated in the Tim Burton blog hop I have been doing so many Nightmare Before Christmas projects. This project was going to be a Famous Movie Monsters mini album. Well, I decided that it needed to be a NBC mini album instead, I used every last piece of materials that were sent in the envelope. The paper I had in my stash from my Halloween Labor of Love Banner from Recollections. I LOVE this and am keeping it for me. Here are some pics:
Thanks to Scrappy Jak for another FANTASTIC month. Until next time....

JDS Freebie Friday: Bug w/Candy Cane

Oh my goodness, I could not wait to get my hands on this little fellow. You see, when I was 5 years old my artistic talents had not flourished yet. Well, I made the UGLIEST egg carton ornament for my parents and am sure that I was so incredibly proud of it. Well, fast forward about 15+ years and that egg carton ornament became the bane of my Christmas existence compared to my youngest (and more spoiled) brother and his golden macaroni frame ornament. For many years I have tried to steal the ornament back to burn it. Every year I get caught. Over the years I have made my parents some hand stitched ornaments that I love but that egg carton disaster still gets put up. This year I am adding a new ornament to the tree; this one:
I like this little guy and I hope my parents will too :D I hope you will hop over to Jen's Digi Stamps to see what the creative team members have made. Until next time.....

Simply Fifty-Two Design Team Project: Sketch #4

Welcome to a new day at Simply Fifty-Two Designs. I went to town with the sketches this week. I have a Twilight Crazy daughter so decided to use that as my focal point for the scrapbook layout. I created this layout using Creative Memories Storybook Creator.
I also decided to do the card sketch as well. This was just way too much fun.
Well, I am off to the craft cave. Until next time, same bat time and same bat channel.

Guest Designer Day: Amanda of White Ruffles

Hoppy Thursday all and welcome to another Guest Designer Day. Today we have Amanda and I cannot wait to show you what she made. I so admire people who can take a single picture and turn it into a work of art. I usually scrapbook by event so there are multiple pics. So without further delay, heeeerrrrrrreeee's Amanda!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~*~*~*~*~*~*~~
Hi all!!

I am Amanda from Whiteruffles. Firstly I love scrapbooking, I can not walk into a scrapbooking store without buying paper, it’s a must for me lol. I have been scrapbooking for about 7 years now and have been crafting for years. As my mum passed when I was 16 I have self taught myself mostly of everything, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and the list goes on with things that I have done over the years.

I have been crazy over doing my children’s albums, in my eyes they are the most beautiful little people in the world. I have a great husband who watches me sometimes as I scrapbook, he has also said that if anything was to happen to me, that he will do his best to try and continue with the albums or at least help the girls with our family’s story.

I also love to do a lot of off the page work, for a bit of inspiration head on over to my blog and have a look around.

Thank you so much Susana for having me as your Guest Designer. Susana is a gorgeous lady and is super talented, I love watching and being part of her blog.
*~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~*~*~*~*~*
Amanda, thank you for your kindness and generosity in your comments and being guest designer today. I love your layout and hope to scrapbook this beautifully one day. Please hope by to Amanda's blog and show her some bloggie love . Until next time....

I just had to share.....

these AMAZING vintage cards from Denise of Vintage Heartfelt Designs. I will tell you that pictures cannot possibly portray the amazing detail and beauty of these cards! I was blessed to meet her at a crop I held in my home for the day recently. I purchased these cards to send out for the holidays. Let me share them with you:

Please stop by her website and show her some bloggie love and also check her Etsy Store for other cards she has for sale. You will not be disappointed and will be sure to find a card to send to that special someone. Until next time......

What a fun day....

I got to spend some time with some of my favorite little people today. They are so super hero crazy that I decided to make this layout with them. The red and blue strips are in honor of Captain America and the red and yellow strips are for Iron Man (their favorites).

I took the pic of them with my webcam (which I hardly ever use).  This layout was made with Creative Memories Storybook Creator 3.0 (I hope to upgrade it soon).
I just love these boys :) Until next time....

Sweet Stamping Treats Dollar Digi Day

Hello to all my wonderful followers and thanks for joining me for Sweet Stamping Treats Dollar Digi Day. You sure do not want to miss this one! This digi allowed me to get my 2nd Christmas card done. I am on a roll for sure. The theme was "Warmth" and what could be warmer than a cup of hot cocoa and some mittens? Here is the card that I made with the stamp:
I decided to go with the Scandinavian type colors for this card. I actually fussy cut the mittens and cup. I colored the digi with Crayola colored pencils and added the "marshmallows" with my white paint pen. The border was punched with my Stampin' Up border punch and the scallop square is a Sizzix die that I bought from the SU rep also. I embossed the white with my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder and the bling are gems I bought at Michael's. I wanted the sentiment going down the side so I used my blue metallic gel pen to write it in. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will hop over to SST's blog and see what my fellow designers made with the same stamp.Until next time....

JDS New Release Monday: Polka Dots Christmas Characters

Welcome to another New Release Monday at Jen's Digi Stamps. In my quest to learn to make new cards, I decided to learn how to make an easel card. The theme of Polka Dots made me see lots of dots! The Bazzill Swiss Dots paper that is. I love this paper pack and use it whenever possible. I love snowpeople and have been making Christmas cards that are non-Christmas colors. This blue always reminds me of winter and snow. Here  is my card:

Here is my card closed

And now open
I added these button brads as polka dot button brads for the snowman's belly, a drew in the dark with my Marvy pen marker and added the brad buttons on the outside. All brads on this card are from Stampin' Up. I hope you enjoyed my easel card and encourage you to hop on over to the JDS blog to see what my creative team members have made :) Until next time....

Today was a great day filled with good food and great company! I hosted a crop in my home and it was such a wonderful time. We had some door prizes and some make n takes as well. I managed to get my banner done for a Christmas hop in November and worked on my Scrappy Jak project of the month. I offered my own make it and take it. Here are some pictures of the things I got done:

Thank you to Denise, Deneen, Erin, and Ellen for a wonderful time. Thanks to my hubby and son for holding down the home front with our puppy Tina. I will be posting some more pics of other projects when it isn't so late . Until tomorrow....

Tag You're It.....

I was alerted to a tag challenge by my cyber friend and decided to make a one! While Facebook video chatting with my dear friend Lynne of Her Craftiness, I came up with this tag for a Vintage Heartfelt Designs Challenge. It was made with my Gypsy using Tags, Bags, Boxes and More and leaf from Designers Calendar. I cut the tag with Bazzill Dotted Swiss paper at 3" x 4" and the leaves were cut from scrap paper I had at 1.96" x 2.06", 2.19" x 2.29" and 2.41" x 2.53". I inked the tag and leaves with my Stampin' Up inks and Inkadinkado's Primary Stack. The sentiment is from a retired Stampin' Up Thanksgiving set and the bling is Stampin' Up's Adhesive Rhinestones. Here is what all this added up to:
I hope you will stop by tomorrow and Sunday for the Tim Burton Blog Hop. I am so excited about the projects I made for this one :) Until next time....

Jen's Digi Stamps Freebie Friday: Christmas Gal

Greetings all! Fall is here but to me it is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. Okay, that is a bit of a stretch but I did make my first Christmas card for Freebie Friday for Jen's Digi Stamps. This Christmas Gal so reminded me of a dear friend that I actually named her Lynne . Here is a picture of my card:
Here is the recipe for this card:
* Sizzix Big Shot and Top Note Die
* Christmas Gal Digi Stamp from Jen's Digi Stamps
* Creative Memories light blue cardstock ( cut 5" x 10" and then folded in half)
* light blue paper with white dots (I have had this for a gamillion years)
* Stampin' Up retired light blue eyelets, currently available Adhesive Pearls and snowflake stamps
* Crayola colored pencils
* Gel pens
* White paint marker
I just love how she came out and I did not even use traditional Christmas colors. Please make sure you hop on over to Jen's blog to see what my talented co-designers made with this stamp. Until next time.....

Guest Designer: Happy Birth Month Scrappin Sista

Happy Thursday all and welcome to my Guest Designer spot for Christel (AKA Scrappin Sista). Happy Birth Month Christel and may this day and every day find you blessed beyond measure. I met Christel through a monthly Faith Blog Hop and am so grateful for this opportunity. Now for Miss Christel's birthday, I could not make just any card. I had to make THE card (which I will be sending to her for her birthday). I've made a Z fold card but never a double Z fold card. I just love this card I saw in cyberspace and decided to give it a try. Here are some pics:
I had the purple floral paper in my stash and everything else is leftovers from other projects. The bling is from Recollections adhesive gems on a roll I used for my birthday blog hop explosion box. The Happy Birthday sentiment came from Creative Memories. Happy Birthday Christel and thanks for having me. Until next time...
