I am seeing triple....

Triple step stamping that is! I went to a stamping group on Tuesday and learned this new technique. I definitely love it for sure. The paper and stamps are all Stampin' Up. You can see them on this website: Stampin' Up. Here are my wonderful cards:

The card on the top is a little different. I used a Sizzix embossing folder from Stampin' Up, stamped the lighter color in ink and the darker color is heat embossed on. I will definitely be planning on make some other cards like this! Thanks for stopping by. If you want to learn how to make cards like this, you can Google "Triple Step Stamping" and there are Youtube videos. Until next time....

Get Inky Stamps Design Team

Happy Day all.... I am so happy to be a part of a brand new Design Team for Get Inky Stamps. We were asked to make project and I decided to start using my stamp set right away! I decided to make two projects to show you the versatility of these stamps. First up was a card that I made for my eldest son's birthday.

For the card I used the following:

Embossing folder: Sizzix Herringbone
Paper: Vellum, Scrap cardstock
Card Base: Recollections 5 x 5 textured card
Tools: Cameo Silhouette to cut the hearts
Ink: Ranger Ink Black

Now I not only make cards but I also scrapbook as well. I decided to get out some of my new Creative Memories paper and tools and got busy.

Tools: Creative Memories Custom Cutting System, Border Maker System with the Hexagon border maker cartridge
Ink: Momento Ink Black

All the sentiments, the jar, and bow are a part of the Get Inky Joyful Jar Drinks stamp set. It is a great set with over 25 stamps. I journaled on the back of the tag. Isn't our grandson a "sweet-tea"? I definitely plan on getting more stamp sets HERE. For any Creative Memories products, you can visit my website HERE. We have two new Catalogs; the March-April Mini Catalog and the Spring/Summer full catalog. Just to let you know that the items in the mini catalog are often limited edition and when they are gone they are GONE. Stay tuned for more projects to come for the Get Inky Stamps Design Team and a brand new tool. Until next time....

A Shout Out to Scrapbook Memories....

I have to say that yesterday I got much more done in 8 hours than I have in months. AND I actually have a finish. It is actually a big finish that has taken me quite awhile. I started an "All About Me" album   to give to my kids and grandkids to know about me. I went to my first all day crop at Scrapbook Memories in Beachwood, NJ. The moment you step in this store you truly feel welcome. I sat with some awesome scrappers and got to work. Here are all the pages I got done to complete my book:

The paper for the last few pages is a Creative Memories Rewards Club exclusive called Candy Shop. I even have the scrap box and it holds A LOT!! The Rewards Club is a fantastic program where you get a discount on your purchases. I had such a ball doing this album that I just had to share. If you happen to be in New Jersey, please stop in to Scrapbook Memories. Here is the website for more information: http://www.scrapbookmemoriesnj.com/. Thanks to Liza and Joe for being the most wonderful hosts. I will definitely be back :)

Need some more inspiration, check HERE.

Until next time...

I learned something new today....

I have been ogling the Cameo face plates that everyone has made. Well, I come to learn that the cut file that came with the Cameo (that I mistakenly thought was an IPOD) is to make a custom Faceplate!! Imagine my delight when I decided to customize my Cameo. Well I could not stop there. I decided to make a little decorating too. Here we are:

I might have to add my name to it as well :) Thanks to Toni in our Facebook group for alerting me to the face plate cut file. Until next time....

I've been pretty productive....

I have been a busy beaver and have some cards to share. Some I made (one for a challenge) and some I received from my kind SU friends. First let me share the swap cards:

We had an amazing time creating together and I learned some new techniques. Here are the cards I made:

And last but not least, here is a card I made for a challenge:
I just love the embossing and then using the brayer. The embellishments are Stampin' Up Soda Pop Tops. The big one was flattened using the Sizzix Big Shot. I love the flower buttons too. I plan on having lots of new things on my blog coming soon (hint, hint). Thanks for popping by. Until next time...
