What a productive weekend.......

Happy Sunday!

I do not know where the weekends go! Even though I ran all weekend, I had a little bit of time to be creative the past two days. Yesterday was our Sat morning Stamping group that meets once a month. Had a wonderful time with our Creative Consultant, Julie and my fellow stampers, Nicole, Erin and Jean.

We made two projects yesterday. One was stamping with bleach and the otherwas a two step stamp set called "A rose is a rose". The bleach one was interesting as a background so I added patterned paper. I want to use the Create a Critter Cartridge when I order it....

Today while my daughter was at drama practice I decided to play with my new stamp set. It was a great deal as you got loads of stamps. I think there are 10 in total. Now I want to use it and stamp to make a sunflower with these Sweet Treats cups from Stampin' Up. They are fun to work with but I would have liked to see them a bit bigger. Let me know what you think....

Here is the up close of some of them.....

I hope that you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed making them. Until next time....

Stampin Up Dream Night

Hello all! I wanted to share some cards I made in preparation for an event on Tuesday. It was Dream Night for Stampin Up. I love the products and learned some new things. I will post some pics I took on my camera phone of some cards I saw. I did 5 out of the 8 projects and will finish the other ones. It was a lot of fun and was glad to share it with my friend Julie. For now here are the last 4 cards I made for the swap.....

Until next time... Happy Scrappin'

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #12 - Last but not least!

Critterlicious. That was a very creative name for the last challenge celebrating National Scrapbooking Day. If I had the Create a Critter cartridge I would have rocked this challenge . All in all, I think this came out well. I am going to be sending this to my brother. Thanks for sharing this wonderful day. I look forward to next year as well.....

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #11 - Colors of the Rainbow

Woohoo! Somewhere over the rainbow. I want to start singing. I am having too much fun with eyelets. I can't believe I was initimidated before. My take on the rainbow colors was they are from a cloudy day. It certainly became cloudy this afternoon. I really enjoyed this card. I want to make another and use black lettering next.

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #10 - May Day

This definitely was an appropriate name for this challenge as it was the 1st day of May! I decided to go bright in tribute to the warm weather. I feel like it is summer already. I am not usually a bright person but I wanted to broaden my horizons. Here is the result. I will be stamping a sentiment or cutting letters for a phrase when I know what it will be used for. Now for the next challenge...

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #9

"Take Shape" was the name of this challenge. Surprisingly this one was not too difficult. I was tempted to use Tags, Bags, Boxes.... but decided against it. I had the thought to make a swinging card. I attached a brad in the corner so the card swings open. I cut the hearts with the Cricut with Stampin Up and Bazill paper. The brad is Stampin Up. I have left the inside blank for now. Here is the results......

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #8

Love me, love my color. Love my color was the name of this challenge. Purple and pink are my favorite colors so I decided to pick pink, I used scraps, my Cricut (it got a lot of use this weekend) and a clear brad. The patterned paper and word border was from a Stampin Up kit, the flower and scalloped border (both cut with the Cricut) were made with Bazill paper) and the brad is a Stampin Up one. After I put it together I realized I should have inked the edges! Oh well, maybe next time.....

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #7

Hey Dad! No, I am not calling to my Dad. This was the name of the My Pink Stamper #7. This was an idea that I had when I woke up this morning. It did not turn out like I planned but I do not think that it is too shabby. I may make a few and actually sacrifice my Bazill yellow paper .

Now onto #8.....

I am fading fast.... My Pink Stamper Challenge #6

Okay. This ole girl ain't as young as she used to be :D I made it halfway through and may have to finish up before Monday. I am so happy with how this impromptu scrapbook page turned out. I will put pictures of my children's faces as the center of the flowers tomorrow.

I am glad that Erin came over today. She made it to Challenge 5 but was not feeling well. She said she will finish the other ones tomorrow. It has been a great day but I am tired and have a stomachache. I am off to check the next challenge for reference :)

Here is a pic of the Challennge titled "Kids Craft Too!".

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #5

This is challenge #5. It was called Teacher Appreciation Days. It could have been made for a teacher or someone you appreciate. Well it has been hand delivered to my hubby sitting in the next room who is so wonderful to me. He supports me whole heartedly in all my ventures and is my biggest fan . Love you honey!

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #4

4 challenges down and many more to go (this is a 12 hr challenge ). I do not think I will get them all done today as we started late and now we are breaking for dinner. This challenge was "I Like You the Least" and it was certainly fitting. I had such high hopes for the cartridge Tags, Bags, Boxes and more." but without an Expressions you get this....

Teeny Weeny for sure! Waaahhhh. Challenge 5 here I come :)

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #3

Challenge #3 had definitely had me "Thinking Outside the Box". I used pearls, eyelets, vellum and foam flowers. Then I had to get creative with the leaves (shhhhhh, don't tell anyone but I used a heart punch and cut it in half). I think this one was really fun. Now onto Challenge #4 :)

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #2

And here we go with the second challenge from My Pink Stamper for National Scrapbooking Day! The theme was "Getting Scrappy" and I used my scraps from a Stampin Up kit to complete it. Erin and I are feeding off of each other for these and the creativity is flowing! I will have to post a welcome to her as she is now on blogger.com as well! Go ERIN!!!! :) I can't wait to see what the next challenge holds ....

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #1

Hidey ho all! Today is National Scrapbooking Day and Erin and I decided to share it with My Pink Stamper's Robyn. This is the first challenge that was posted today. It was called "Mother Dear I Love You So". I wanted a panda but used all my black paper (can you say "I need to go shopping" ) so I settled for a koala. He inadvertantly got a Cindy Crawford mole. Thanks Robyn for this great idea!

Now onto Challenge #2
