Lordy, Lordy Look Who's 40 Blog Hop - Day 7

Good morning all and welcome to the Lordy, Lordy Look Who's 40 Blog Hop organized by our very own Jenn of Cardstock and Coffee. You should have come from Shelley's blog. Some gals will have a project each day and some may only have one or a few, so make sure you follow along each day and leave everyone some love on their blogs. I will have a project a day and blog candy at the end of the week.

Before we get to the project, here is the blog lineup in case you get sidetracked:

This was the most interesting project that I have ever made. A friend from work wanted a ladybug theme for her daughter's 1st birthday/Christening party. I remembered that Doodlecharms had a ladybug. This was the initial invitation I came up with, She loved it so much that we made 80 of them. Here was the finished product...
Don't you just love the glitter paper? My Cricut mat did not like it though! Come tomorrow you will see my grand finale project that I was inspired to make for this hop. Thanks for spending this time with me and I hope that you are inspired to have some crafting time of your own.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget that I am offering blog candy at the end of this hop.  You will receive a $10 gift card from Michael's or AC Moore (your choice). I do not believe that they are international so unfortunately this will have to be open to US residents. There are only two criteria to win:

1. Be a follower of our blog
2. Leave a comment under this post

The winner will be picked by Random.org on Tues, May 3rd. Now I send you off to Gill's blog. Until tomorrow......

  3. Cute Lady bug! My daughter LOVES lady bugs. quick tip for those glitter papers, i find using painters tape in the corners helps hold the paper in place and i use my deep cut blade on it too cuts much smoother than the regular blade. TFS!
