I am way too proud of the progress I made today with pictures from July 2011 (sad isn't it?). Better late than never I always say. These are pics from a birthday get together at my cousin Sabrina's home in Virginia Beach. I used a kit I purchased from debbielukacs.com and altered it as I had no Easter pics this year. The only elements I did not use were the Easter eggs and "March 2013". I cut the title and the X's and O's with the Cameo Silhouette. I have to say that it worked out well and showed that there is a lot of love down there. I am looking forward to being there FT one day. Until that time, I get to look at these pics often:
I just love them all. Thanks for taking this journey with me today. Until next time...

It is Virtual Crop Day with Dr Phil...
I am so looking forward to today. I found Dr. Phil's virtual crop and decided I would give it a go. Regular crops is where I get my scrapbooking done. So why not try it at home? I don't have to lug all my stuff and I can get some pages done. Well, in almost 4 hours I have a 2 page layout done. I know, I know... you are shaking your heads. Well that is because I get so engrossed in elaborating on pages that it takes me longer. This is a page kit I bought from Debbie at the last crop and was perfect for my grandson Elijah. Just like the graduation layout, I used my Creative Memories Border Maker System for the fence and the paper mat borders. Here is the end result:
Dr. Phil had an online class on U stream. I followed along as best I could but kept running back and forth to my craft room. I have had this picture since 2011 when we visited Mom and Dad in Virginia Beach. I am quite happy with the results:
I am blessed to call Mary Ellen my Mom. She has taught me a lot of things including how to be strong. She took care of me while I was broken and helped make me who I am today. I think she did a great job!! I love you Mom :)
See those circles there? Well I used my newer favorite tool; the Shape Maker System. Watch for some new cartridges for both these wonderful tools!! I am sure I will get some more pages done but wanted to share this right away. Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to sharing some great deals for National Scrapbooking Day on my website: http://www.mycmsite.com/sites/susanbermudez/. Until next time...

I'm A Guest Designer today over at....
Crafty Card Gallery. I always enjoy being a part of Jenn's Design team and this challenge brought out my love of stamping! We were asked to take a stamp set we haven't used in a while and this one surely qualified. It is an old Stampin' Up set I have and probably used once. So I googled for inspiration and found a card layout I liked. I always change the colors and an element or two to make it my own. In this case, I used the More Amore designer paper pack from Stampin' Up. The papers are double sided and just the perfect background. My ink was Stampin' Up's Melon Mambo and the sparkly came from Creative Memories P.S. I Love You Embellishment Pack. The border was made with my Creative Memories Border Maker System and Frame Chain border cartridge. Here's my card:
The dimensions I used are as follows:
4 1/4" x 5 1/2" for card base
4" x 5 1/4" for heart paper
3 3/4" x 5" for white base for stamping
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you visit Crafty Card Gallery's page and show some love there. Until next time.....

Creative Memories All Day Crop in Freehold, NJ
Okay, so maybe I spent more time chatting and making sure my friends were doing well than scrapbooking this day. BUT, that was just what the Dr. ordered. I did manage to get two pages accomplished though. Here they are:
I really liked the pinwheels that I made on layout #2. They were made with my new favorite tool, Shape Maker System. The flowers and the letters on layout #1 are from the Fabulous power palette. I matted the photos in layout #1 with ease using the Creative Cutting System. I also got another project done in the evening time but I will have to wait to share it. I do plan on making some swap cards this evening so please stay tuned. Until next time...

Grace Foundation Crop for Autism
Howdy all!
I attended the Grace Foundation of New York's Crop for Autism this past Saturday and it gave me a lot of time to actually scrap pics from 2011!!!! It also allowed me to use my new favorite tool and favorite Power Pallettes from Creative Memories. Forgive me as this post is a little pic heavy but I can't help but share. Here are the layouts I got done between Sat & Sun.
Do you see all those circles and squares? Well, I made those layouts with the NEW Shape Maker System. It comes with the circle and square cartridge and there is a puzzle piece cartridge as well (I'll show you this on a later layout). And there is a new cartridge coming soon (hint, hint it is a circle tag maker). Do you see the borders on the Graduation, Sweet and Simple and Great Adventure layouts? Well that is using my other favorite tool; the Border Maker System (hint, hint there is a new border maker cartridge that you don't want to miss). And those hexagons are made using the Hexagon Place n Punch. That tool is on the WSL (While Supplies Last) category so get it before it is gone. Of course my Corner Rounder got a workout too!
The paper palettes I used were the Candy Shop Power Palette and the Enchanted Power Palette. If you are like me, this takes all the work out of matching colors and embellishments.
I have another all day crop coming up this Saturday and want to offer you some of the specials that we will be having:
New Tape Runner & 3 Cartridge Refills
Scrapbooking Top Pick $125
Save $22.50

Crafty Card Gallery Blogaversary Challenge
Greetings all and welcome to another Challenge from Crafty Card Gallery. I have to say that these challenges always make me stretch my creative muscles (and pump some neurons). We were given paper medallion to work with. Well, I broke out the Cameo and decided to try one of those intricate scroll work borders.
I had this red pattern paper in my scrap pile (yes I NEED to use some of my scraps). and the brads are from my friend Julie from Stampin' Up.
Card Base: Recollections 5 x 5 textured card
Paper: Scraps
Brads: Stampin Up
Tools: Cropodile, Cameo Silhouette
Please stop by Crafty Card Gallery and show Jen some love.Until next time...

Get Inky Sketch Challenge
Oh Happy Day! It is our first Sketch Challenge for the Get Inky Challenge Blog. I so enjoy sketch challenges and this one stretched my imagination. Since Easter was just around the corner (and hubby usually gets a handmade card), I made that the theme of this sketch:
I fired up my Cameo Silhouette and got started. Here is the card that I made with the sketch:
Do you recognize the "LOVE" stamp under Happy Easter? Well that is from Blue Moon Creations Joyful Jar Drinks. There are 25 stamps included in this set and I used it in my scrapbook page shown HERE. I also have another idea for this stamp set that I will share at a later time.
Since I liked this sketch so much I made another card:
Since I liked this sketch so much I made another card:
For this one I cut the frame with my Silhouette Cameo. The little bunny was a digi stamp we received for Easter and I turned him into a Print and Cut with that feature on Cameo. I sponged the frame. The two borders were cut with my Creative Memories Border Maker System and the Frame Chain Cartridge. The bling is from Close to My Heart.
Now come and play along with us. Challenges will take place every other week. This challenge will start April 1st and run to the 14th. Unless you are on our Design Team, you don't need to use Blue Moon Creation Stamps or Digis to play along, but we love it when you do! Normally, the DT will pick a top three, and a random winner will be picked for a free digi stamp by Blue Moon Creation. BUT for this first challenge, everyone who enters will get a digi stamp. You may enter up to three creations, because we love to see your creativity shine! We do ask that you link back to our challenge in your blog post, and that your post is not backdated on your blog. So come on over and play along with us at the Get Inky Challenge Blog.
