Greetings all!
I was going through some old pictures and found some pictures of paintings that I did as part of stress relief many moons ago. I loved it but had to stop for various reasons. There are some missing but I will photograph them all one day soon. I will have to share them at a later date. Here are some for now:
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time....

I Took the Plunge......
Happy Sunday all!
I have been admiring many mixed media artists, especially Donna Downey. Well, I had a friend come to spend the weekend and she had me look up videos on Faber-Castell's Gelatos. Well, it piqued my interest and I decided to try it out. First we decided to try making a tag. Here is what I made:
I combined a Tim Holtz tag with the Tim Holtz tissue paper and Distress Paint. The red paper was from my scrap pile and the bird was cut a Tim Holtz die we found at Hobby Lobby on clearance for $6.99. The words are cut from my Smash label maker. I decided I need a real label maker because this was a pain and did not stick. I inked the bird with Tim Holtz Distress Inks.
Then I moved on to the real project-a 8" x 10" canvas. This was part of a 2 pack from Hobby Lobby for $5. We gesso'd the canvas first (like we did to the tag) and dried it with the Embossing gun. We broke out the Faber-Castell Gelatos and got busy. Here is the end result:
Do you see more of the Tim Holtz tissue paper there? I used my Cameo Silhouettes for all the die cuts and inked them with my Close to My Heart Exclusive Inks (Sunset & Twilight). I used Pop Dots to give the clouds and hummingbird to give dimension and the flowers are from Spare Parts that I found at Hobby Lobby too. The branch was inked with Tim Holtz distress inks and then I used my fine point brown and grey markers to give it dimension. I just LOVE this! I have a second one planned now too. I am so glad that you came by to share this adventure with me. Until next time....

Isn't She Lovely.....
Happy Monday all!
I decided to pull out my newest Scrapbooking Workshop on the Go-Ariana. Let me tell you about these Workshops. You get so much in this kit you can do one double page layout, a single page layout and then some cards as well. I have never been disappointed with any of the Scrapbooking Workshop on the Go's. When I first saw this WOTG, I fell in love. It was so pretty and I saw great potential with the stamp set that came with it. The embellishments are just darling too. Here is the two page layout that I made:
I will be placing pics on this of our first visit with our newest grandchild, Adelina.
In this Workshop you get:
Ariana Paper Packet
My Acrylix™ Ariana Workshop Stamp Set (D-size)
4 White Daisy Cardstock Sheets
Ariana Assortment
Black & Grey Epoxy Bubbles
Instructional Brochure
Featured Colors are: Ariana Coral, Ariana Green, Ariana Grey, Crystal Blue, Outdoor Denim, White Daisy
Follow the included step-by-step instructions to create the two-page layout featured in the workshop guide. The layout pattern is a Jeanette Lynton original created exclusively for this workshop. Then use your remaining materials and online tips to create an additional layout, shown in the guide.
Some basic tools you may already have, such as inks, stamp blocks, or how-to books, are needed to complete these projects.

What do you get when you have 50 hrs of Scrapbooking time? Part One
Good day all:
I recently went to a weekend crop sponsored by Croppers Delight NYC that they held in NJ. It is a weekend where many wonderful companies donate prizes and giveaways for the participants. There were over a 120 women and we had a BLAST!!!! I had a wonderful Secret Sister that gave me goodies this weekend. There was a Conga line and dancing on Saturday night. The best part was that I got so many scrapbook pages done. As there were so many I got done, I will have to split them in several posts. Here is round 1:

It's the Wearin' of the Green!
Good day all!
I am here to share my Green/St. Patrick's Day Inspiration Challenge Card for the Blue Moon Creations Crafting Stations Get Inky Challenge Blog. I have to admit that St. Patrick's Day is a favorite holiday of mine from childhood. It was a day of nothing but Irish music, food and time spent with my favorite Nanny! I decided to make my card with at interactive piece to it. Here is my card and I can explain.
The sprig of 4 leaf clovers detach to become a lapel pin!!! Here is what I used to make my card:
- Misc. colored cardstock (I have accumulated so much throughout the years I don't know where I have gotten them)
- Inky Moonbeams Club Digital Stamp (Happy St. Patrick's Day Clovers)
- Stella Wink Glitter Pen (Yellow)
- Clovers cut with my Cameo Silhouette
I hope you will join us for the Green/St. Patrick's Day Challenge. Thanks for stopping by and we look forward to seeing your creations as well. Until next time...

Where do you Bling?
Good day all!
I am packing for a weekend crop and looked at all my bling. Holy smokes, I need to get this better organized. Well, Close to My Heart has now solved my problem! And here it is:
12" X 12" My Legacy™ Work-In-Progress Album
Item Number: Z1348
I am packing for a weekend crop and looked at all my bling. Holy smokes, I need to get this better organized. Well, Close to My Heart has now solved my problem! And here it is:
12" X 12" My Legacy™ Work-In-Progress Album
Item Number: Z1348
This specially-sized 3-ring binder holds your scrapbook pages in our 12" x 12" Memory Protectors™ while you plan and assemble your finished albums. Includes a coordinating protective case. (Memory Protectors™ not included.)
This album serves two purposes. If you are working on a lot of pages and are not ready to put them in your actual books (like me who scrapbooks out of chronological order), you can put your pages in some 12 x 12 page protectors.
In regards to all the bling I have, I will be taking the 12" X 12" My Legacy™ Work-In-Progress Album and add in the 12" x 12" Memory Protectors™ Design 3, 12" x 12" Memory Protectors™ Design 4 and 12" x 12" Memory Protectors™ Design 5 (pictured below) and add my bling in the various pockets.
Then I can just slip it into the coordinating protective case and place it on the shelf to pull out as needed. I hope that you found this tip handy and get your bling or scrapbook pages organized. If you have any questions, you can email me HERE. You can start shopping HERE. Well, off I go to finish packing. Until next time....
