Challenge Inspiration for Get Inky! Stamps

Good day all :)

Today is my turn to bring some creative and wintry inspiration over at Get Inky! Stamps. For my card I combined two stamp sets available at Blue Moon Creations. They are the 2013 Holiday Set and the Whimsical Moon and Stars. Here is the card that I made:

I just love how this all came together. The supplies I used are:

* Get Inky! Stamps 2013 Holiday Set and the Whimsical Moon and Stars.
* Cuttlebug Embossing Machine and a Zebra print folder (from Darice I believe)
* All papers from my scrap pile
* Close to My Heart Exclusive Inks CocoaBlack and Twilight
* Sakura Pink and Gold metallic gel pens
* SU Markers

Thanks for coming by and sharing this time with me. Until next time....

It's Christmas in July with Get Inky! Stamps

Hidey ho all!

I got a package last week with some new Get Inky! stamp sets and I could not wait to break them out to show you. I love making Christmas cards and there's no better time than the present. I also like making cards that are easily reproduced. I made two cards instead of one and will share them (I could not decide which I liked better. Here they are:

I was so close to making a third but I want to use another of my new sets for it. Thanks for coming by and please stop by Get Inky! Stamps Challenge Blog to join the fun. Keep checking the Blue Moon Creations website to check when the new sets are available. Until next time.....

JME Creations Snowman Challenge

Greetings and salutations my fine frosty friends (try to say that 5 times fast). Today I have another post and this one is the Snowman Challenge for JME Creations. I have to say that I love snowpeople (I think I said that several times). I made these cards for a commission I received. Here are two of the 35 I was asked to make:
I cut the journal tag from Elegant Edges and inked and sponged the edges. The snowman was cut from Doodlecharms and I used my Stampin' Up punch for the crochet lace border. The bling is my Stampin' Up rhinestones. The snowflakes and sentiment stamps are from Fiskars. I hope you enjoyed my cards and hope that you stop by and see what the rest of the team has made. Until next time....

Sweet Stamping Treats Christmas

Top o' the Morning to you all. Oh, wait... that is the wrong holiday. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around our neighborhood and it is getting me in the mood for Christmas cards. I love snowpeople and here is Mr. Snowman for you.
The little bluebird just made my day!!! I am waiting on my Marvy pen to make my snowpeople more snowy so the trusty Crayols colored pencils came out. The scrollwork around the sentiment is from Stampin' Up as is the adhesive rhinestones. All the papers were from my Scraps as was the ribbons. I hope that you enjoyed my card and that you stop by Sweet Stamping Treats to see what the other creative team members made. Until next time......

Here is the sketch that we were all given to use:

And here is the card that I made for today:

Since I did a Thanksgiving card yesterday, I decided to make a winter card. Again this was a card make with scraps. I had the card base already cut, the snowman was cut from a Simply Charmed (I believe) and the tag behind him is from Creative Memories. The twine, rhinestones and buttons are from Stampin' Up. I stamped the snowflakes and sentiment using a Fiskars stamp set I won as blog candy. The ink is the White craft ink pad from Stampin' Up. I just love this little fellow.

Thanks for stopping by and remember to become a follower and leave a comment. I will be having a giveaway once I reach 400 followers. Now I send you off to the fabulous Miss Jamie. Until next time....

Snow Much Fun....

Well, thankfully the snow went out to sea and we had a reasonable day. Cold but it is December. I am so glad that the only snow we have is the snow on these pages. This was a class that I took with the Iris paper folding for a scrapbook page (I had done this for a card once). If you want to try this, you can check out this site:

Basic Iris Folding Instructions

Now onto the pages. This is a two page layout using Stickles, Distress ink on cotton, and tear paper technique.

I will definitely be taking a class with this teacher again. The next one is a Penguin Envelope album. :) I certain hope you try this technique. Until next time....

Happy Scrappin'
