I was asked to make samples for the son of a dear friend of mine. I love visualizing something and seeing it come to fruition. I have to say that I am partial to the first one but wanted to give a more traditional card as well. Here is what I came up with:
Please note that the details on the inside are not the real ones (LOL). I just wanted her to see what it could look like. The second card I made is this one:
This is still in it's prelim stage as I need to get to the store and get a floral garland around the bride and groom silhouette when the card is closed. As I said though, card 1 makes me happier. Which one do you all prefer? I would appreciate your opinion. Until next time....

FINALLY.. a weekend to create...
I think that it is just what the Dr ordered. I am home from Dad's surgery and cannot tell you how grateful I am to all my Facebook and IRL (in real life) friends that were sending good thoughts and prayers for Dad. He came through the surgery and progressed so quickly that it is nothing short of miraculous! I won't keep you with all the details but he was sitting up, talking and watching his favorite TV shows less than 24 hrs after an 8 1/2 hour of surgery and was not on a respirator to celebrate his 71st birthday!
Since his Dr's were AMAZING, I thought I would make a card in honor of their work and dedication. I am involved in a card swap later in the month and made this card with the Dr's in mind. I did not design it but used a cut file from the Silhouette Store. I love Valentine's card colors and am partial to them. Here is the results of my therapeutic time.....
I am thankful that prayers do work and I still have my Dad here. No matter what comes, we will face it together. That is what FAMILY is all about. I hope that you find something that brings you JOY today. Until next time.....

I have Found the One....
As they say, "All Good Things Must Come to an End." This is my last post for Crafty Card Gallery's blog. For my last card I wanted to share a card I made for hubby for Valentine's Day. This is my second go around and I know that we were destined to be together. He does complete the other half of my soul. No relationship is perfect but we work hard to make it good each day. I designed this from a card base from the Silhouette Store. Here is the results of my labor:
For the inside I used a Craftsmart stamp from Michael's as the "You and Me" border is cut using my FAVORITE tool from Creative Memories (the Border Maker System). I am going to be vending at a local crop in February and will be doing a demo with it. I will be sure to share it later. Thanks to Jenn for having me on her blog this week. Until next time....

I Heart U
Hi again! I have another card I made using a template from the Silhouette store. I always wanted to make a window card and now I can! I decided to jump start my Valentine's cards. I am not sure which kid will get this one yet. Here it is:
I used one of my Stampin' Up Cuttlebug folders, a brad from the same company and a heart brad I had in my stash.I can definitely see making more of these!!! I will have one more card to share with you tomorrow and my guest designer week will be coming to an end for Crafty Card Gallery. Until tomorrow....
