Sweets for the Sweets Card One

Greetings all and I hope that this blog post finds you all well. The Seasonal Expressions 2 (SE2) idea book is available for your viewing pleasure (click HERE). I will be showing projects from this Idea Book that is available from April-August 2015. There is amazing items in here and you want to make sure that you get them quickly. There is a stamp set in the new SE 2 called Treats of Friendship that I just love (and it coordinates with the Cricut Artbooking Collection). 

The paper I used is the Brushed Paper Packet and the ink is Cotton Candy Exclusive Inks pad.

Here is the first card that I made:

Except for fussy cutting the tea cup, this card took no time at all. I subscribe to the K.I.S.S. method lately (Keep It Simple Silly). I will share another card that I made using this stamp set later in the week. Now I am off to spend time with the kids. Until next time.....

We Miss You dad....

Today is Easter Sunday and 3 months since Dad has passed. I loved this photo of us (I was cropped out for his memorial card) and the poem my brother wrote after our Dad passed. Who says that scrapbooking is not therapeutic? Here is the end result:

Black & White Challenge for Crafty Card Gallery

Happy day all!

Today I get to be guest designer for Crafty Card Gallery! The theme was Black & White and I first thought of penguins but then opted to think outside the box. With wedding and prom season approaching, I thought this would be a great card. Here it is:

 I made a doily dress and used some Stampin' Up pearls. The stamp set is from the Cricut Artbooking Collection (click the link to see the whole collection). This was such a fun card to make for sure!
