Greetings and salutations my friends!
Today is my last project for the JME Creations' Design Team for now. The group is taking a little hiatus. April showers bring May flowers and I decided to make a "Get Well" card. Here it is:
I used my Creative Memories Cheerful Designer Print Paper. You get 16 pieces of high quality double sided paper. It is perfect for cardmaking or scrapbooking. I punched a tag and used self-adhesive rhinestones to outline. I decided to doodle on the edges as well. The umbrella came from the Cricut Create a Critter cartridge. I believe the card base is from the Don Juan cartridge. I look forward to this team starting back up in several months. Until next time....

Ribbit! It is a a Froggie Day today!
Today we are seeing green over at the JME Creations Blog. The design team members and I decided to get a little froggy. I got to use my My Pink Stamper Punnylicious stamps to make this card. It is toadally awesome. I hope that you think so too! Here it is...
The stars I received in a swap and the papers were from my scrap pile. I used my Gypsy to make it all come together. Please hop over to JME Creations blog to see what everyone else made. Until next time...

JME Creations: St. Paddy's Day....
Hello all and welcome to the second post of the day. I have to say that this project gave me a run for my money (and I did not find a pot o' gold at the end of the rainbow!). I decided to take on the task of designing my own word book on the Gypsy. For my first attempt I do not think it is bad but there are some tweaks I need to do to it. Here is the pic of the whole book:
And here are some pages:
I used George and Basic Shapes for the rectangles and welded the letters from Cricut Classic font. I may try to do a word book a different way next time.
Please be kind as I was up until well after midnight to put the pages together. I will take it apart and trim the pages so the letters are spaced a little bit better. I also want to get O rings and then tie the ribbon to them. BUT, for my first try I don't think it is too bad.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will stop by my other post HERE. Until next time....

JME Creations Design Team Project
Hi all.... this is a brief post as I have to get to work. I had so much fun with this butterfly challenge. I got to use my new Stampin' Up candy poly bags and a cartridge I have not used before; Indie Art. My sons loved the extra Nerds as I bought too many boxes (Better to be safe than sorry I always say). Here is the final result:
I hope you will hop over to JME Creations and see what the other team members have made. Have a great day all :) Until next time....

JME Creations New Design Team Term: Valentine's
Love is in the air my dear friends. Whether you love a friend, family member, spouse, child or pets it is that time of year. I went to town with my Create a Critter cartridge and made not one but two cards. These are for a friend of mine to give to family and friends.
She also wanted something special for her husband. I got the inspiration from my friend Amy's blog, Love to Crop. I mixed it up a little bit though. Here is mine:
I used my Swiss dots Cuttlebug embossing folder and scrap paper. His "hands" were punched with an Itty Bitty punch from Stampin' Up. He just makes me happy. Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you will stop by JME Creations blog and see what my fellow team members have made. Until next time....

JME Creations: Happy New Year
Should old acquaintance be forgot... I am kind of sad as this is my last project for this year and I had such fun with it. Does anyone remember Rudolph's Shiny New Year? Well, I used to love to watch this and there is a picture of myself and my cousin Louie dressed as Father Time and Baby New Year in 1979 going into 1980. So in memoriam to my wonderful cousin, here is my card:
I used the Marvy puffy paint for his diaper and he was cut from one my Cricut cartridges. I had to draw in the facial features and cut his hat from the Create a Critter cartridge. Red Stickles adorn his hat. Wishing you all a Happy New Year. Until next time....

JME Creations Snowman Challenge
Greetings and salutations my fine frosty friends (try to say that 5 times fast). Today I have another post and this one is the Snowman Challenge for JME Creations. I have to say that I love snowpeople (I think I said that several times). I made these cards for a commission I received. Here are two of the 35 I was asked to make:
I cut the journal tag from Elegant Edges and inked and sponged the edges. The snowman was cut from Doodlecharms and I used my Stampin' Up punch for the crochet lace border. The bling is my Stampin' Up rhinestones. The snowflakes and sentiment stamps are from Fiskars. I hope you enjoyed my cards and hope that you stop by and see what the rest of the team has made. Until next time....

JME Creations Color Challenge Design Team Challenge
Greetings all :) Today is a great day over at JME Creations. Today's challenge was Pink and Brown. Well, I decided to think outside the box with this one (thanks to my friend Lynne of Her Craftiness). This is the first time I have totally paper pieces a card where I hand cut all the pieces. Can you see the pink and brown?
The cat, sign and wood pile are just clip art that I resized and pop dotted. For the fireplace grate I trimmed this gold paper that I had in my scrap pile and ran it through my Xyron sticker maker (1.5"). I used my black marker to give the "bars" dimension. I added white paper on the inside to stamp a sentiment. I have not decided whether or not make this a Christmas card or a housewarming card. I will file it for now and add the sentiment later. I hope that you have enjoyed my project and that you will pop on over to JME Creations to see what my fellow team members have made. Until next time....

JME Creations Turkey Time
Good morning all and welcome to another JME Creations design team day. The theme is Turkey Time and I love some turkey. So for my project I decided to make a realistic looking turkey. Here is my card:
I cut my Turkey from Provocraft's Doodlecharms cart and the Give Thanks is from Designer Calendar. I wanted the tray to be gold so I covered the white with my gold metallic gel pen. The patterned paper is from Creative Memories (I believe) and the cardstock base is from Stampin' Up. The leaves are stickers from Jolee's Boutique. I decided to sponge the sentiment so it did not look so flat. I hope you will hop on over to JME Creations to see what my other creative team members have made. Until next time....

I see orange spots and let's make a wish over at Susana's Scrappin' Corner
Today I have 2 design team projects and a Thanksgiving blog hop to share with you. I am sure excited about both :) Here are the links to make it easier.

I also wanted to share a tip that you may or may not know. When I have to go through multiple links for a hop, I move my mouse cursor over the link, click the right mouse button to get a pop up window and click "Open link in New Tab". This way I don't have to keep hitting the back button and losing my place. Once I post my comment, then I close the extra window and open the next the same way. I hope this helps and wish you all a wonderful day. Until next time...

JME Creations Orange Circle Challenge
Welcome to the newest challenge at JME Creations. Today's Challenge is Orange Circles. I had multiple inspiration for this card. One was my children whom I used to sing this song to all the time. The other was my friend Erin of Comfy on my Cloud who LOVES buttons. Anything with bling always make me happy. Here is my card:
The little spiral paper clip came from the M.O.C.H.A. welcome goodie bag so I put it to good use. The cloud sticker are from EK Success and the flower border is from Forever In Time. The orange bling is from Recollections and the buttons are from my stash I have had from various sources. The happy little fellow is from the Ronald McDonald stamp from Stampin' Up set.
I hope you have enjoyed my project and hope you hop on over to the JME Creations blog to see what the creative team has made. Until next time....

JME Creations Thank You
Thank you! Danke! Gracias! It is Thankful day over at JME Creations. Before I share my creation, I want to share 5 things I am thankful for:
1. I am thankful for my amazing family who loves me even though I am the square peg in the round hole.
2. I am thankful for my friends who have stood by me all these years (even when I was a bit nuts)
3. I am thankful for the many gifts and talents I have been given
4. I am thankful that I never go to bed hungry
and last but not least....
5. I am thankful to each and every one of my followers who make this blogging thing worthwhile every day.
I challenge you all to post something that you are most thankful for today. It is hard to be thankful sometimes in our lives and just making a list makes the day a bit brighter. So this is for you all:
And now onto my thank you project:
Recipe:
* Blue Cardstock from God knows where
* Stampin' Up So Happy For You stamp set
* Spampin' Up ink pads
* Scrap of patterned paper and blue solid
*Cuttlebug Thanks embossing folder
I hope you pop on over to JME Creation's blog and see what the rest of the team has made. Until next time....

JME Creations Purple, Orange and Green Color Challenge
Woohoo, what great colors for this time of year from JME Creations for this challenge. I am enjoying these challenges and hope you will too. I decided to make a Halloween card because the colors just screamed BOO! Here is my card:
Again my scrap pile got a work out. I hand drew in the details on the witch's hat and robes. I tore the paper for the dirt. The witch and tree were both cut from Mini Monsters. The sentiments were punched from two Stampin' Up punches I own. The sentiment is also hand written as my stamp was too large.
Thanks for coming by and I hope you will hop over to JME Creations blog to see what the other members of the team made. Until next time...

JME Creations Design Team Owl Challenge
Knock, Knock
Who's there?
Owl.
Owl who?
The owl who is wearing a purple hat
Okay, I have to admit it was cheesy. I was remarking yesterday to my family that (for someone who has always disliked Halloween) I make the cutest Halloween cards. When given this challenge I was originally going to make a plain old owl. Then I thought, "Why not make an owl with a Halloween eye mask?" Well, that thought flopped because I did not have a Cricut cartridge with an eye mask. So then I thought, "Since Halloween in coming, why not make him a Wizard (this is after looking at Harry Potter-like digi stamps). So Harry the owl was born!
The owl is from Create a Critter of course (we know that is my absolutely favorite cartridge). The background paper I had in my stash and I cut the little bats at 3/4" from the Hello Kitty Greetings cart (I hid their faces). I believe the hat is from Mini Monsters as is the Spooky tree. I used my gold gel pen to embellish his hat and silver to outline the tree and give the bats smiles. I have to do cutesy things to like a Halloween card. The pumpkin is from a Jolee's Boutique Dimensional pack (Funny Pumpkins) and I just tore the green paper to make hills and used Ranger Ink's Silver stickles for ooomph! This was a really fun challenge for me and I hope that you can join in too :) Hop on over to JME Creation's blog to see what everyone else made. Until next time....

JME Creations Design Team Project: Color Challenge (Sept. 30th, 2011)
Hello my fellow crafters:
So glad that you could join me for another design team project for JME Creations. The challenge was to use Brown and Blue in the card. Well I knew EXACTLY what I was going to make with one exception; I changes the critter on the front. Here is what I came up with:
The caterpillar is from my favorite Cartridge, Create a Critter. I used my white pain pen and blue marker to draw in the raindrops. The paper and ribbon were in my scraps (I am crazy about using them up). I hope you will hop over and check out the wonderful projects my fellow team members have made HERE. Until next time....
