Crafty Card Gallery's Quilling Challenge

Happy Saturday all :)

I am super excited to bring you my newest creation. When I saw the call for a Quilling Challenge that Jen of Crafty Card Gallery posted, I just had to agree. I have seen so many beautiful things made (some that I will share here for inspiration) and hope to do even more. The tool provided by our sponsor made it EASY PEASY LEMON SQUEEZY :) Since I love butterflies, I decided to make one with my tool.

For Mother's Day I bought myself a new Sizzix die. It is a long one and makes two different border types. Here is my card:

I also used my Sizzix Scalloped Squares die and the paper I used were all scraps. I used a Stampin's Up stamp set for the sentiment "for you" and the inside says "because nice matters". I love the colors of the card (has two of my favorite colors).

Quilling is just so versatile and creative! I hope that you will stop by Crafty Card Gallery's website for a special offer.

JME Creations Design Team Project

Hi all.... this is a brief post as I have to get to work. I had so much fun with this butterfly challenge. I got to use my new Stampin' Up candy poly bags and a cartridge I have not used before; Indie Art. My sons loved the extra Nerds as I bought too many boxes (Better to be safe than sorry I always say). Here is the final result:
I hope you will hop over to JME Creations and see what the other team members have made. Have a great day all :) Until next time....

I'm a Guest Designer today....

for my friend's Kari's Purplefuntastick Creations blog. I had so much fun with this card. I am all about the bling and this butterfly is just too sweet. I know it is not purple but the theme was Valentine's Day. Here is my card:
I received the butterfly and heart bling in an exchange. I used my Creative Memories Double Heart Chain Border. The papers were scraps and the crochet border is from Stampin' Up. The sketch was given to me by my friend Julie and I made this card a Valentine's order. I have several more to do and am looking forward to it. Thanks to Kari for having me as a guest designer today. Please stop by her blog and show her some love...

Until next time...

She wanted to do a theme of her favorite thing : Candy, chocolate, sweet treats so I asked all my friends in the Hop to do anything with this theme to celebrate my special day...it makes my mouth slobber and drool just thinking about the sweets!! :) I do love my junk food!

The one thing Kari did not mention is she loves purple and butterflies. I saw a card made by my friend Ellen made and new I wanted to make something similar. Here is what I made:
I had to add my blingy touch and give him a happy face. Kari makes me smile and I wanted to make her smile too. The background paper is really cool as it is crinkled. I sure hope she likes it as a lot of thought went into it. Thanks for stopping by and your next stop will be Debbie. Until next time.....
