Jamaican me Crazy mon! So glad that you popped by to see what I came up with using these FANTASTIC coffee stamps from Jen's Digi Stamps. Let me tell you that it is a real treat being on a design team and seeing what the others have come up with. So grab a cuppa Joe, pull up a chair and come and take a look :)
I bet you think that this is a card, right? Well it is not. It started off as a card but the sentiment was too long (curse you Microsoft word with no rulers). So Plan B came into effect. I took some of my Stampin' Up ink spots, my Stampin' Up sponge and created this effect on a 5 x 7 flat canvas I had laying around. The two stamps that I used were the Got coffee background stamp and Eva (need more coffee) stamp. I colored this with colored pencils, Copic markers and gel pens. I just had to write #1 Mom on the cup.
Good old Millie gave me the Joan Rivers impression as soon as I saw her. Doesn't she just look poised to share some gossip? Well actually the inside reads "I am missing you" so she just wants to catch up with an old friend. The stamp used is Old Millie sitting at the table with coffee with the coffee background stamp mentioned above.
If you are not familiar with Jen's Digis then please hop over to the website HERE. You can also check the Deal of the Week. It changes so definitely keep checking back. Also, Jen has a special offer for my followers. If you got to her site and purchase a stamp (or two or three), you enter the code susan in the coupon box for 5% off your order. Easy peasy for sure. There are lots of wonderful happenings on Jen's blog too. Thanks for stopping by and please see Jen's blog for the other projects from my most talented fellow design team members. Until next time.....

Janet Evanovich: Plum Lovin' (Audiobook)
I have to admit that these books are my guilty pleasure. When I want a lighter read, I love to listen to or read her books. This is the 2nd of an in between series of her numbered one. In this book it takes place right before Valentine's Day and Stephanie Plum the bounty hunter has to play Cupid to make the holiday special for strangers and her sister. The characters in all Janet Evanovich's books are larger than life but I relate living in the Garden State. This is the perfect beach book but I suggest reading Visions of Sugar Plums first. You would not be disappointed.
