Happy Birthday....

to my Dad! I decided that Dad's deserve handmade cards too! Of course the Home depot gift card was inside (He is so handy). It is very difficult to come up with Masculine card ideas. With my limited paper supply, this is what I came up with.

And now for the extra cards I made. A wise friend said to make 4 cards at a time and that is what I did! These are the others I came up...

I know that once I have my very own craft room I will be able to be much more creative. Right now, all that I own is in a large travel craft tote and the Cricut and Cuttlebug reside in their boxes. I look forward to more space and time to craft. Until next time......

Oh Happy Day.....

It was a fun-filled day with friends and cardmaking. I learned a new technique that I am anxious to try with microbeads. This was made with Stampin Up Sticky page (cut into a strip), scraps of paper and silver embossing powder. I stamped the saying with a Stampin' Up stamp (Oval All) and then free cut ovals with my scalloped edge scissors. The background flowers were stamped with Stampin' Up Versamark. I even made my own envelope :) Hope it inspires you to be creative.

My Pink Stamper Challenge Today

There is nothing like a challenge to get your creative juices flowing. I cannot wait until I can have my stuff out full time. I managed to bake and make two cards on my little breakfast nook table. The challenge was to make something from your favorite color and black. Here is what I came up with. Anyone up for making some cards too?

Happy New Year 2010

Happy New Year Folks!

I have started the new year out with a cold. The stuffy nose and cough are so annoying. I had a good friend visit me today and we played with the Cuttlebug and Cricut and I decided to use a Stampin Up mini kit to make 4 thank you cards. I think they came out cute. On to bigger and better things.
