Love to Create Design Team Post 2

Good morning all and welcome to another DT post for the Love to Create Challenge blog. Today's sponsor is
and you just have to check out their site!! I just love the digi stamp that I worked with. The theme for this challenge was buttons and bows. Well, if I could have put a bow on her stockings I would have but I could not make one that tiny. Here is my card using this digi:
She is so pretty and I had to give her a some awesome hair (I wish my hair could look like that). Since she is Cupid I made her into a sweet Valentine's card. Of course I had already made hubby's card so this one will be saved for a later date. Here are the things I used to make it:

* K & Company Valentine's paper pack
* Recollections Pink Cardstock
* Michael's ribbon
* Misc buttons from my collection
* Markers: Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip, Soft Suede, Sahara Sand, Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, Regal Rose, and Pink Pirouette and Copic Pale Lilac, Skin White, Barely Beige and Colorless Blender
* Sakura Gellyroll Metallic gel pens: silver and gold
* Provocraft Elegant Edges cartridge

Thanks for stopping by and visiting with me today. I encourage you to stop by Sassy Studio Designs and the Love to Create Challenge blog to see all the amazing things in store for you. Come back all week and see the wonderful projects I have in store for you. Until next time....

Guest Designer Thursday (on Friday): Staci of Precious Memories Scrapbooking & More

Hola my friends! I have missed you all so much. This is week four of me going back to work and WOW!!!! Yesterday I went to our monthly creative group (called M.O.C.H.A) and did not get home until 10 PM. Then crashed to start a new day today. Thus I am a day late (and a dollar short ) of posting this amazing project. Staci was so gracious to be my guest designer and I love her work. Her post is part of hosting very first blog hop with other talented artists so make sure you hop over to her site for more details. Here's Staci.......

Hi and welcome to the Valentine's Décor and Gifts Blog Hop.

This post is doing double duty!

I am also a Guest Designer over at Susan's Blog today.

Thanks Susan for having me again as a GD.

This is my very first time hosting a blog hop.
If you happened here by chance you're in luck!

I am the first of 20 stops full of great ideas, so grab a beverage and let your fingers do the

walking.

The sponsor for this hop is Designs on Cloud 9 and she has offered us a $20 Gift voucher for the GRAND prize. Head over to her Facebook page and show her some Love.
One lucky person who comments on this hop will be the winner of this generous prize.

(one person from each stop will be chosen at random and I will then hold a random draw from those 20 people and ONE lucky person will win the GRAND prize).

I thought it would be fun to showcase homemade decorations and gifts for Valentine's Day.
My projects feature files from Designs on Cloud 9, whom is the sponsor of this hop. She has some FABULOUS cutting files and digi stamps.
Please check out and "like" her Facebook page . There is always great inspiration, contests, giveaways, special sales and new releases.

So enough jibber jabber and onto my projects....

This is my Gift portion of the hop.
My daughter wants to give this to her teacher, she is in 1st grade.
I may add a flower to the pencils too, just not sure yet.
(there are a few Hershey Kisses' in the bottom also.)
This file was a freebie a few weeks back at Designs on Cloud 9 "Heart Box 1".
Now for my Decor part....
I made a vertical banner using the "I love you" and the scalloped hearts from "Heart Box 1" file from Designs on Cloud 9
I will be giving away the "I Love You" file I used on this project as my personal blog candy to ONE lucky person that leaves a comment on my post. Be sure to leave me a way to contact you (ONE COMMENT PER HOPPER)
Here are a few close ups of the adorable little bears.

Thank you Staci for sharing with us your first blog hop project being hostess. I cannot wait to see what the others have done as well. Please stop by Staci's blog and enjoy all these great projects. Until next time...

Guest Designer: Her Craftiness

Greetings all and I am way too excited to be a Guest Designer on Her Craftiness' blog today. I just had to share my scrapbook page that I made to commemorate my upcoming date night with hubby. We will be married for 7 years and share 4 children. We decided it was time to start taking a date night once a month. Well, this is what I started with:

Can you see it? Well, that is because it was a blank 12 x 12 piece of scrapbook paper! We were given some Stampin' Up inks, Versamark and silver embossing powder and a color spritzer tool. I also used the butterfly punch and adhesive rhinestones. Here is the result:
I am definitely going to be doing this more often as I love the look. Thanks to Lynne for having me as a Guest Designer today. Please stop by her blog, Her Craftiness, and show her some love. Until next time....

Her stockings and collar were done with my Marvy white dimensional pen. The button brad were from Stampin' Up and the little Purple blings are from Recollections. The heart bling I received in a swap. Isn't she darling? I am glad you stopped by today and please remember to stop by the Love to Create Challenge blog and Bugaboo Stamps blog and share the love. I missed roll call...

. I made this card for a blog hop and missed the roll call so could not participate. Going back to work has definitely cut into my Facebook time. The theme was Black and White with a splash of color. I decided to use this cute little blowfish stamp that I won as blog candy. I also used a sketch that my friend Julie gave us to make some cards for a swap. Here is my first card:
I decided to make the others a bit different. Here are the other three that I made:

The background papers are all from a paper swap I participated in. The flowers and butterflies are all from my stash. Do you recognize the Creative Memories border punch??

The ribbon and bling are from Stampin' Up. Since I am feeling the love so close to Valentine's Day, I wanted to share with you the wonderful Nancy O'Dell Love Series. I plan on getting the 12 x 12 Additions and the Love Mini Display Accents to put in the Nancy O'Dell Mini Magnetic Everyday Display. I cannot wait! Thanks for hopping by. Until tomorrow...
