Jen's Digi Stamps Freebie Friday: Birds

Welcome all to another project for Jen's Digi Stamps. It is Freebie Friday and I had a ball with project. As soon as I saw this little birdie, I knew what color he was going to be. I decided to learn a new card type for this project. This is a side step card and I found the tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers. To welcome Fall, I made this card:

I used some felt pumpkins, leaves and Fall sentiment from my friend Erin and used blue glass glitter from Stampin' Up. The grass was cut from Plantin Schoolbook at 1 1/4" and 1 1/2". Notice the two pumpkins in the back? They are scared they are going to get picked. I hope you enjoyed my project and that you will go and see what the other team members made as well right HERE. JME Creations 1st Design Team Project: Apples

Hello to all my amazing followers!


I returned from a family visit to work on my design team project for JME Creations and the theme is apples. Well (to me) nothing says apples like Fall. Fall means back to school (do I hear a cheer going up?) Would you believe that this frame started out as a less than pretty $1 frame that was pink and black checkers and had a vampire logo in the middle of it. Here is a picture of the finished product:

Here are the details for my altered frame:


Apple cut is from Create a Critter Provocraft Cartridge
The face is stamped with Everyday Characters Peachy Keen stamp (largest face)
I punched the caterpillar from 1" circles and embellished with my gel pens
Black paper is from a Target paper pack Mom gave me
Pearls are Recollection (I believe)
Letters were cut from my Gypsy at 1" from Plantin Schoolbook Provocraft cartridge


I just love altered art as it takes something considered trash and makes it a treasure. Please check out the other design team members projects as well :)

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #5

This is challenge #5. It was called Teacher Appreciation Days. It could have been made for a teacher or someone you appreciate. Well it has been hand delivered to my hubby sitting in the next room who is so wonderful to me. He supports me whole heartedly in all my ventures and is my biggest fan . Love you honey!
