Also remember that once I reach 400 followers there is a giveaway also. Who doesn't like blog candy? I know I sure DO.
Well all, I am off to work on a card for the upcoming Hello Kitty Christmas Blog Hop. I am embarking on trying something I have never done before and hope it works out. :) Until next time....

The Elves are all so very busy today....
Ok, I know Thanksgiving is in a few days but I am working on some Christmas projects for various design teams. After surviving the midnight premier of Breaking Dawn Part One with my teen daughter and her friend (Lord, I hate those Monster drinks), I woke today with the desire to create. Well, I am a bit under the weather with a sore throat but it will not hinder me. Please check out my post for Jen's Digi Stamps TODAY and come back tomorrow for a two post day . I am so close to 400 followers that I am deciding to do a giveaway. When we surpass 400 (at 401), I will draw a winners for a $20 gift card to AC Moore, Michael's, or Joann's. The two requirements will be to be a follower and leave a comment on the post I will put up announcing reaching 400 followers. Who can't use a gift card to get some supplies for those holiday cards? Do you think we can do it? YES WE CAN . So come and bring your crafty friends to share my blog. I have a video idea in the works and will have a HUGE announcement next Friday (Black Friday). Until tomorrow.....

I feel like it is Christmas :)
Hi again all :) I promised a second post because I wanted to share some recent acquisitions that I received. First up is the blog candy that I won from a hop over at Paper Tree House Studio. This came at the most perfect time as I have been organizing my supplies. A HUGE shout out to Wooden Dreams by Sue for this quality product. I received the "The Topper" Stamp organizer and I have started to put in my stamp pads. You can view all these wonderful products (there are more than Stamp Organizers and you won't be disappointed!) HERE. Here are some pics of what I have put in so far:
And here it is in it's new home:
You know what the greatest thing is? It spins!!!!!!!! This was meant for me for sure :)
I also am blessed with a wonderful friend who shared some of her stamping stash with me too. Another shout out to Julie. She is not only my friend but also my Stampin' Up rep. You can view her website HERE and can order to have it shipped to your home. I am in no way shape or form affiliated with this company but love the product. Here is what she generously gave to me:
Some of the stamps in the holder were from her as well. She knows I love to color with my Blender Pens and needed more colors. I am sure she will be blessed for blessing me. Well all, I have to go get some rest as I am feeling under the weather the past several days. I actually have gotten one layout done for the Pencil Lines and my banner done for the Labor of Love blog hop for September. I cannot wait to show you all these projects when I can :) Until next time.....

A RAK and blog candy win.....
I wanted to share some wonderful things that the mailman brought me recently. I have come to make a dear friend from my last blog hop and have come to discover we have a lot in common. I commented on a post on her blog and she shared some of the goodies with me. I also had run out of ink in my white gel pens and she sent those too :) Thank you Lynne for your generosity and friendship. Here is a pic:
I was also a winner of blog candy from Lezlye of Ink and Paper Creations. The post office lost the original package so she was so sweet and sent a replacement. This has my favorite winter things Christmas and SNOWMEN!!!! I collect snowpeople and this made my day. I even have ideas for some great Christmas cards. Here is the pic of my prize:
Both of these ladies have brightened my dreary rainy day. Thank you both :) Until next time....

Happy Early Mother's Day from Me to You!
Good evening all! I trust that this post finds you all well. We have some wonderful reasons to celebrate! Today is Cinco de Mayo. Sunday we will be celebrating Mother's Day. And we are also celebrating a milestone - 200 FOLLOWERS!! Awhile back I said that we would have a giveaway we hit 200 followers and I am a woman of my word. Details will follow at the end of this post.
I have a very special Mom. It took me becoming a Mom to truly appreciate all she had done for me. So I decided to go out on a limb and try a different type of card for her. I bought the Stampin Up Mom stamp knowing I would used it for her card. The rest was divine inspiration! This was my first time making a gatefold card and I am quite happy with the way it came out. Here is the picture and the items used to make it:

Supplies:
* DCWV Garden Party paper stack
* Craft store cardstock
* Stampin Up pearls
* Stampin Up Mother of Mine and Curvy Verses stamps
* Fiskars paper cutter
* EK Success bone folder
* Tombow Mono Adhesive
I will have to hand deliver my gift to my Mom when I see her but I want her to have her card at least. Happy Mother's Day to all Mom's whether you have 2 legged or 4 legged kids.
For our 200 follower giveaway, all you need to do is to be a follower of this blog (membership has it's rewards) and leave a comment on this blog post. To give everyone a chance to win, I will be picking the winner on Sunday May 15th. My dear friend Randy (random.org) will be choosing the winner. Thanks again to all my followers and there will be great things to come in the future. Until next time...

If you would like to start at the beginning, you can go back to Ellen's blog. We have a fantastic group of bloggers participating so you don't want to miss it. Once the wedding is over and William and Kate have returned from their honeymoon, they are going to have a daunting task of sending thank you's. That is why I chose to make a thank you card for the second day of our hop. Here we go....
As you can see, the scrunched ribbon is on this one too! All supplies used here are from Stampin' Up. The technique that was used is faux linen. I think I am going to do a video on this one. The colors are difficult to judge in the photo though. Thanks for joining us to celebrate the wedding of the century and best wishes to the happy couple.

I had such an amazing time creating a project for this hop that I actually made 2! Who doesn't like a party and I love tea. So I made sure I combined both for these for my projects.
The teapot is a cut file for my Pazzles machine. I shadowed it with black to help it stand out. The stamp is from Stampin Up as are the pearls and ribbon. The ribbon was actually folded using double sided sticky tape. Doesn't this make you feel like you could have tea with the Queen Mother. Now where's my crumpets? ;)
This next project is elegant enough to give to William and Kate. It actually was made in mind for a co-worker that is getting married this year. The sentiment and flourish were both cut on the Pazzles and the hearts were cut and embossed with my Sizzix die and my Cuttlebug. The silver hearts were heat embossed with Stampin Up embossing powder and I used my wheel for the first time. The bling on the flourish is more glitter glass. The card base is one of the Creative Memories card I bought in the pack.
