Challenge Inspiration for the BMCCS Mother's Day/Spring Flower Challenge

Sue B here with a little inspiration for the current Mother's Day/Spring Flower Challenge over at the BMCCS Get Inky! Stamps Challenge Blog. I got to break out a retired Close to My Heart B&T Duos Collection called Dotty For You. I also decided to use the current Get Inky! Moonbeams Club Sketch. I love this club as I get digi stamps to work with and a sketch to inspire me. Here is the end result:

Challenge Inspiration for Get Inky Stamps Challenge Blog

Today I get to bring some buttony fun for the Buttons, Buttons Everywhere Challenge over at the Get Inky Stamps Challenge Blog. I am so happy to be back sharing my projects consistently with the rest of the team. As you know the challenge is to dig out buttons from all over! Remember your hidden button stash? Get Inky Stamps Challenge Inspiration

Happy Friday all!

Today I am sharing a card that I made for the Get Inky! Stamps Challenge blog. The theme is Handmade Flower. Well, for this challenge I used several stamp set from Get Inky! Stamps. Here is the card I made:

* Paper is from Recollections Letter size cardstock
* CTMH White Daisy 12" x 12" cardstock

* Adirondack and Ranger Inks
* CTMH Sparkles (currently available in Clear, Brown & Tan Asst and Black & Gray Asst)
* CTMH Silver Shimmer Trim (also currently available in Red, Black and Bronze w/new colors coming soon)
* Flower made from scrap pink paper from a tutorial found here

Get Inky! Stamps Christmas Challenge

Happy Day all!

Today I get to share my card for the Christmas Challenge over at Get Inky! Stamps. I tried a new technique called Letterpress with a Cuttlebug folder. I did find it a challenge to do. Here is my card:

Guest Designer for Get Inky! Stamps

Greetings all:

I have to tell you that I LOVE cupcakes. All shapes, sizes and flavors. To me they are just the right size for a little sweetness. So when I learned about the cake challenge from Get Inky! Stamps, I knew I had to come up with something special. Well it had to be extra special as this was a card for someone special. I used the Sew Sweet Cupcakes stamp set and took out some paper I bought "just because". I stamped the image twice so I could layer and make it seem like frosting. Here is my card closed:

Of course my Cameo Silhouette came in handy. The brad holding the card open is from Kathy Davis Studios Happiness set. I am looking forward to another day at KD Studios soon. Get Inky! Stamps Bugs Challenge

Greetings all!

Today starts the Bugs Challenge over at the Get Inky! Challenge Blog.As you may have saw from yesterday's post, I was blessed to spend the day at Kathy Davis Studios on Saturday. She has such an extensive product line and I chose the paper from the 12 x 12 paper pack titled Butterfly's Promise. The stamp set is Love Bugs 4x6. I know I will be going to town with this new paper and stamp set. I have used it a lot recently. Here is my card:

It's Christmas in July with Get Inky! Stamps

Hidey ho all!

I got a package last week with some new Get Inky! stamp sets and I could not wait to break them out to show you. I love making Christmas cards and there's no better time than the present. I also like making cards that are easily reproduced. I made two cards instead of one and will share them (I could not decide which I liked better. Here they are:

Summer is Here - Who's Ready for a Party?

'Ello all. Susan here with a Summer Fun project for Get Inky! Stamps Summer Challenge. Summer to me means time with Family and Friends. The motto is "It's 5'Oclock Somewhere". After a long week this definitely applies. I used the Joyful Jars set  that you can find on the Blue Moon Creations website. I wanted invitations for a get together and this was so much fun to work with. Here it is:

I love the puffy paint I used to make the beer froth and the Stickles to make the beverage. I am thinking you could change this up and make a cup of cocoa and the card using Holiday colors for a get together in December. This is how versatile this set is!! Get Inky! Stamps Red, White and Blue Challenge

Greetings all! I am so very happy to be a part of another challenge for Get Inky! Stamps challenge blog. For this challenge I decided to use a color block technique. I used my Sew Sweet Cupcakes stamp set. The colors just made me want a cup cake so badly!!! Here is what I made:

Get Inky! Masculine Card Challenge

Good day all!

Today I am so happy to share a gift and card set I made for Get Inky!'s Creations for Boys and/or Men Card Challenge. I had THE BEST paper to go with the Buzzing Bees stamp set. I needed a quick gift and card set and here they are:

I used Recollection pattern paper and Cardstock for the entire project. I learned this "Triple Step Stamping Card with a Twist" card today at my monthly stamping group. Can you spot the "twist"? Get Inky Design Team Challenge- Glitter Challenge

It is another fun filled challenge over at the Get Inky Challenge Blog. This time we were to use glitter. You know that glitter is not one of my favorite things to work with so I decided to keep it contained. Here is my card:

I can never seem to have enough birthday day cards and this was so easy to make. I used the Buzzing Bees stamp set. You can find it here at Blue Moon Creations. I colored this little fellow with my Stampin' Up markers and my gold metallic gel pen. I used my Creative Memories Cheerful Birthday paper and some flower dimensional stickers that I had in my stash. I used my Stampin Up fine glitter for the inside. This was such a fun shaker card to make and the stamp set gives you so many sentiment choices and sizes of bees. I think this is my favorite set so far. I know you will love it too so make sure you hop on over and get one for yourself. Until next time....

I'm a Guest Designer Today over at Get Inky Stamps!!

Good day all! This is Susan and I get to be Guest Designer today here at Get Inky! Stamps. I have to say that I love die cuts and it definitely assisted me in this challenge. 

For this card, I used the Top Note die with my Cuttlebug after gluing down 1 inch squares on a scrap piece of paper. I love the scrappy quilt look of this . The stamp set that I used is the Sew Sweet Cupcakes set that you can find over at Blue Moon Creations. I hope that this gives you inspiration to come and join our challenge at the Get Inky Challenge Blog for our Show Us Some Die Cuts Challenge. Hurry on over as it closes out tomorrow. Die Cuts are IN!!!

Good evening all :)

I had to wait to share this card as it was made for my very special Mom. You know how much I love my Silhouette Cameo and it helped me make my Mom happy for Mother's Day. I found this card template at the Silhouette store and then decided to us Get Inky Stamps Buzzing Bees stamp set. This is  one of my faves right now. Here is the card that I made:

I just love that I have bees in different sizes and that you can mix n match the phrases. I stickled the flower centers and added my signature bling. I used scraps to make this entire card! Mom was so happy with her card and I am blessed to have her to share it with.

Get Inky Sketch Challenge

Oh Happy Day! It is our first Sketch Challenge for the Get Inky Challenge Blog. I so enjoy sketch challenges and this one stretched my imagination. Since Easter was just around the corner (and hubby usually gets a handmade card), I made that the theme of this sketch:

I fired up my Cameo Silhouette and got started. Here is the card that I made with the sketch:

Do you recognize the "LOVE" stamp under Happy Easter? Well that is from Blue Moon Creations Joyful Jar Drinks. There are 25 stamps included in this set and I used it in my scrapbook page shown HERE. I also have another idea for this stamp set that I will share at a later time. 

Since I liked this sketch so much I made another card:

For this one I cut the frame with my Silhouette Cameo. The little bunny was a digi stamp we received for Easter and I turned him into a Print and Cut with that feature on Cameo. I sponged the frame. The two borders were cut with my Creative Memories Border Maker System and the Frame Chain Cartridge. The bling is from Close to My Heart.
