Greetings all.
Today I get to spend some time with my dearest friend, Laurie, and I wanted to give her birthday card to her early. We have shared a Love for Precious Moments figurines since we were in High School (1983). For her wedding I made her a cross stitched picture of a Precious Moments wedding figure. I am blessed by her friendship so I wanted to present her with this card:
The image is from the Silhouette store and the Flamingo Dots are just darling. The inside says Happy Birthday that I used the Banner Wishes stamp set.

Okay so I am being dramatic but I feel like I have been awarded an Academy Award. I have submitted projects fr design team consideration and I have made the design team for JME Creations. I am so super excited and looking forward to September to be more creative. Please hop over to Jamie's blog and become a follower (if you are not already). I have also completed my 2nd layout using a sketch from Pencil Lines. It will be posted with sketch #06. I cannot tell you how blessed I am that I am able to work with such phenomenal people. This blogging thing has brought me in contact with so many amazing people. You do not need to share the same geographic location to become dear friends. Thank you to each and every one of you that I have the pleasure to know in cyberspace.

I truly have a wonderful life (no I am not George Bailey ). There are so many blessings in disguise for me. I have a wonderful family who loves me (teens included I hope ). I have talents I have been blessed with. Happiness is a great part of life. Now to work on the good health part (I am so close to my first weight loss goal I can smell it). A 3 month Cricut Circle membership! I almost fell off the bed when I read that I won. It has come at the perfect time when I have more creative time. Now I am praying for the means to extend it after 3 months
I also have to give a shout out to a great friend of mine. Erin at Comfy on my Cloud is my Scrapbook Expo buddy. Well, this year I had surgery the day she was going. She was so wonderful that she made this amazing "Get Well" goodie bag for me (see it here). I have met the most amazing people through papercrafting and love my local gals, Julie, Nicole and Jean.
