Sande Designs Commission Project

After an amazing day, all 6 projects are complete. I came up with the design idea and Erin and I worked on the layout with all the pictures and other items. They are framed pieces that are 16 x 20. The background is metallic paper. The embellishments are Jolee's and others. This was so much fun and I look forward to many more! Next up, making all the cards I have sketched.

I've been a baaaaaaadddddd girl - Part 2

I just needed to share some of the other projects that I have worked on. This past Monday was a great one with 2 double sided page layouts and 1 single sided page layout done. Here are pics of them....

I found these Ariel borders and immediately thought of my daughter. She was the cutest thing singing with her Little Mermaid microphone. I have printed out my journaling which I will add this weekend.

This was a 2 page layout that was a Make it and Take it at the Scrapbook Expo in Somerset NJ. It was to use the double sided sticky tape and glitter. It was great to learn and I look forward to working with it more :)

And last but not least, this are two pages that I made with my L&M Storytellers of the month kit. I also discovered them at the Scrapbook Expo in NJ. This is their basic kit and I still had some left over. When I signed up for the year, I got 5 free kits. Good deal for sure. For $10 more you can get more embellishments. I am supposed to get a tote bag. I have to check on that .

I've been a baaaaaaadddddd girl :)

Well, ok not really. I have been meaning to blog a very long time ago. Life is getting in the way for sure. Between packing to move, Dad's surgery, moving, unpacking and still trying to work and scrap I think I got lost. Anyone have a road map to the nearest scrapbook retreat weekend complete with masseuse? I have managed to get some scrapping done and I have the fruits of my labor to share. I also have exciting news. Sande Designs (our new company) has a commission piece for a Las Vegas project. I designed the background and layout and have been working hard to construct 6-16 x 20 posters with BLING! My partner (in crime), Erin, will be coming this weekend to help with the final embellishments and matting of all pics. I plan on sitting and constructing a bunch of cards as well. Wish me luck! :)

Well, enough about me. Onto the projects.....

Here are the two samples that we came up with for our Vegas project. The black background was the winner. The circles were cut with my new Pazzles machine (no cartridges required) and the brads are Stampin Up'.

This was a 3 page layout for my Boricua family. I wish that there was more time in the world to visit. The embellishments are a modge podge of Stampin' Up, stickers from AC Moore and letters cut from the Pazzles.

I take no kudos for this layout. I bought it at Michael's Arts and Crafts. These are our dog Tina the Mini Pin and Rosie the Bischon (Mom's dog). I am not crazy about pre-made layouts but wanted to try it.

Well it seems that I cannot add the other pics to this post so we will have to have a Part 2 :)

Happy Scrapping,

What a productive weekend.......

Happy Sunday!

I do not know where the weekends go! Even though I ran all weekend, I had a little bit of time to be creative the past two days. Yesterday was our Sat morning Stamping group that meets once a month. Had a wonderful time with our Creative Consultant, Julie and my fellow stampers, Nicole, Erin and Jean.

We made two projects yesterday. One was stamping with bleach and the otherwas a two step stamp set called "A rose is a rose". The bleach one was interesting as a background so I added patterned paper. I want to use the Create a Critter Cartridge when I order it....

Today while my daughter was at drama practice I decided to play with my new stamp set. It was a great deal as you got loads of stamps. I think there are 10 in total. Now I want to use it and stamp to make a sunflower with these Sweet Treats cups from Stampin' Up. They are fun to work with but I would have liked to see them a bit bigger. Let me know what you think....

Here is the up close of some of them.....

I hope that you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed making them. Until next time....

Stampin Up Dream Night

Hello all! I wanted to share some cards I made in preparation for an event on Tuesday. It was Dream Night for Stampin Up. I love the products and learned some new things. I will post some pics I took on my camera phone of some cards I saw. I did 5 out of the 8 projects and will finish the other ones. It was a lot of fun and was glad to share it with my friend Julie. For now here are the last 4 cards I made for the swap.....

Until next time... Happy Scrappin'

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #12 - Last but not least!

Critterlicious. That was a very creative name for the last challenge celebrating National Scrapbooking Day. If I had the Create a Critter cartridge I would have rocked this challenge . All in all, I think this came out well. I am going to be sending this to my brother. Thanks for sharing this wonderful day. I look forward to next year as well.....

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #11 - Colors of the Rainbow

Woohoo! Somewhere over the rainbow. I want to start singing. I am having too much fun with eyelets. I can't believe I was initimidated before. My take on the rainbow colors was they are from a cloudy day. It certainly became cloudy this afternoon. I really enjoyed this card. I want to make another and use black lettering next.
