Scrapbooking in Old Virgini.....

As I described in my last post, I managed to get a few pages done. I came home and did another and two cards (which I cannot show until the end of the month). Here they are:
Here is hubby and I in March of this year

A Trip to Hershey in 2004.. boy the kids were small!

Erin and I before an all day crop :)
I also wanted to share a very special blog hop that I will be participating in at the end of the month.
It is the Standing on God's Promised Faith Blog Hop. I am so honored to be participating in this hop; especially in this season of my life. I hope you will join us for this 3 day hop :)

I also have not forgotten to pick a winner from the Scraps blog hop. I was putting it off a few days to see if we hit 250 followers. Should we hit it by 11:59PM tomorrow (Friday the 15th) there will be a second winner. So send your friends on over :) Until tomorrow....

It has been a "Fair" week :)

Actually it has been a fair week. I had some tests done and at least I now have answers and will progress from there. All good thoughts will be greatly appreciated (especially on May 20th). I got to spend some scrapping time with my dear friends after the Doctor and it did my heart good. I managed to get two pages done. I literally have two more sets of pics to finish and I have scrapped all that I have printed. This weekend I hope to get more printed and set up more pages. For now, here is my layout courtesy of L&M Storytellers kit :)

The embelishments are Jolee's. This was incredibly simple but so much fun! Until next time....

All day crop and an upcoming Blog Hop....

Evening all. Today was a pretty exciting day. For over 2 months, my friend Erin and I have had this all day scheduled and couldn't wait. Today hubby had the camera out and decided to take some shots. I promised you some pics of the lighter me so I wanted to post them too! I am now 17 lbs away from my first goal and so very excited. So here you go.....
This is the old me

I won this shirt at a crop and it did not fit until now

This sweater was tight
Now onto the pages from my crop. I got 7 pages done and only have 3 more occasions left and then some 8x8 pages in my All About Me book. At the crop (sponsored by Creative Memories rep Alice Funk), there was a Make it and Take it and won some door prizes. These items I used in some of my pages. You will also see that I used some L&M Storytellers elements.

I am also happy to announce that I will be participating in another blog hop this month. It is a birthday blog hop with a great milestone. I am past that milestone but I am not getting older but better! Please join us all on Monday, April 25th. Until next time....

Creative Memories Crop

On Sat the nasty weather held out so I got to attend a 7 hour crop. I really wanted to make this a video as a shout out to L&M Storytellers but my work week has been long. I signed up for this monthly pack last May and have been accumulating them since then. I decided that I was going to do all my layouts at the crop using the packs. I accomplished my task and completed 13 pages! The best part of these kits is that there is ALWAYS leftover paper or embellishments. Here they are:

Like Mother, Like Sons
Rockin Around the Christmas Tree

Christmas Presents
Christmas Village - Pennsylvania
These are a few of my Favorite Things

Christmas Village (inc. the Kissing Bridge)

Time to say goodbye

Should you wish to check out L&M Storytellers, their website is L&M Storytellers Club.

Our follower are growing. If you have made it to the end of this post, then you will know that there will be a giveaway when we reach 100. The prize will be an L&M Storytellers back (maybe two) for you to try. I hope to see us grow even further. Until next time....

One lonely little page....

When I went to put the 4 page layout in my album (see previous post), I realized that I had a blank page. I conveniently had a single picture to use (which I rarely do). This picture was from a long time ago. My daughter will be 16 on Friday so this takes me back :)

It is amazing how time flies! I cannot believe it. I hope you enjoy this layout. I had a blast putting the paper flowers together with Stampin Up Brads. Until next time......

It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood :)

It is a brisk Fall Day here in Jersey. The leaves are changing and leaving the trees. It is a day that inspires creativity. We are having company today so there will be no more creating today but I wanted to share this 4 page layout that I did from our visit to the Tuckerton Seaport. We do not get out too often (our schedules don't permit it) but when we do it is wonderful. The paper and embellishments come from L&M Storytellers monthly pack:

I am looking forward to some cardmaking later but for now I am looking forward to good food and great company. Until next time....

I've been a baaaaaaadddddd girl - Part 2

I just needed to share some of the other projects that I have worked on. This past Monday was a great one with 2 double sided page layouts and 1 single sided page layout done. Here are pics of them....

I found these Ariel borders and immediately thought of my daughter. She was the cutest thing singing with her Little Mermaid microphone. I have printed out my journaling which I will add this weekend.

This was a 2 page layout that was a Make it and Take it at the Scrapbook Expo in Somerset NJ. It was to use the double sided sticky tape and glitter. It was great to learn and I look forward to working with it more :)

And last but not least, this are two pages that I made with my L&M Storytellers of the month kit. I also discovered them at the Scrapbook Expo in NJ. This is their basic kit and I still had some left over. When I signed up for the year, I got 5 free kits. Good deal for sure. For $10 more you can get more embellishments. I am supposed to get a tote bag. I have to check on that .

Happy Scrapping,

Sue
